Goa’s real estate

Goa’s real estate

Goa’s real estate has seen a massive change over the last few years, with development shifting from small urban homes to spaces lifestyle spaces.  Developers are added further value to their properties by adding additional amenities to attract buyers from India as well as NRI’s abroad. It’s the right time to buy property in Goa if you are a buyer as overall prices have remained constant at an average over the last few years in places such as Ribander, Caranzalem, Porvorim, Mapusa and Santa Cruz. The beach belt of North Goa has seen unsteady pricing structure completely dependent on the supply and demand for real estate based on tourism.

The northern areas of Goa have attracted a large number of buyers that are outside Goa buying real estate here for investment purposes. South Goa on the other hand has seen buyers more local and has see buyers purchase as primary homes. Of course there are investments in property along the coastal belt of Betalbatim, Colva, Arrosim to name a few place but fairly incomparable to the north of Goa.

With the regional plan 2021 on hold many land owner are eager to heat from the Government on the conversion on zoning from agriculture to settlement, which when happens will see better liquidity and pricing in the market.
